    Also when people feel you actually read their comments, they tend to comment more.

    As a matter of fact responding to comments can more than double the numbers. That’s because whenever you respond, the person who wrote the original comment might want to add even more input to the conversation… and if you respond to that as well, then the conversation just keeps going … But don’t take my word for it :)
